of the Dean of the Wharton School (through August 1990); the remainder
with the central Division of Information Systems and Computing
(ISC) where responsibilities included strategic planning for technology,
management of network services for the campus (including electronic
mail, world wide web, authentication systems), and technical architecture
development. Final position was senior technology advisor to the
Vice Provost for Computing (Penn's Chief Information Officer).
